Intervention, Inc., a Colorado non-profit, provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs), electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections.

OVERVIEW

In collaboration with HR Generalist, coordinate the talent acquisition and recruiting process to attract qualified and quality candidates. Facilitate the hiring process by working closely with hiring managers throughout to attract, review, interview and hire potential candidates.

  • Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.
  • Reflect Intervention Inc.’s commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information
  • Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations
  • Work closely with hiring manager throughout hiring process to attract, review and interview potential candidates
  • Advise hiring managers on appropriate hiring practices, including internal process, best practices and legal requirements
  • Create, post and promote job openings on Applicant Tracking System and other job boards/sources timely and accurately
  • Pre-screen applicants as requested
  • Assist with onboarding tasks to ensure smooth transition for new employees
  • Assist with monthly new employee orientation
  • Compile and enter employee information into databases accurately and timely
  • Repost and refresh all company postings once a week
  • Complete phone screens of applicants according to manager preference and email results to managers for review
  • Communicate frequently with managers on status of opening to ensure recruiting process is progressing
  • Schedule interviews for managers according to manager preference
  • Conduct interviews as requested by managers
  • Research new places to places or ways to promote openings. Analyze data to determine usefulness
  • Research and sign up for career fairs
  • Research and implement solutions to source qualified applicants
  • Promote employment at Intervention by posting/distributing “We Are Hiring” posters and recruiting cards at restaurants, coffee shops, universities, and other in-person job boards.
  • Review and update posting verbiage to make it more attractive to candidates
  • Drive personal car to career fairs and/or other sites as required, including in adverse weather
  • Attend required trainings and meetings, apply skills and knowledge
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Collaborate with HR department in completing special projects
  • Good steward of Company human, financial and capital resources.
  • Participate effectively as a team member through communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving.
  • Any other tasks or duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least six months experience in all aspects of recruiting
  • Demonstrated strong customer service/sales experience.
 
SKILLS
  • Ability to enter data, generate reports and create effective communications from variety of software programs and databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including verbally, on the phone and in writing
  • Ability to handle confidential information and situations with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment and exercise good judgment with excellent follow-through
  • Strong Customer service orientation
  • Able to be flexible while still meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated/self-directed
  • Attentive to details
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
  • Must pass background check and have ability to access state criminal databases
  • Valid driver’s license required. 

Location: Lakewood, CO
    With the ability to travel to career fairs and facilities as needed including Pueblo, Greeley, Boulder, Henderson, and Lakewood.
Pay: $20 - $22.50/hr
Hours: Part Time - 15-25 hours a week
Hours are flexible - would need to be able to work hours between M-F 7am-5pm
