Intervention, Inc., a Colorado non-profit, provides services within the criminal justice system across the state of Colorado including sobriety monitoring (UAs/BAs), electronic monitoring, probation supervision and community corrections.

OVERVIEW
Manages and directs the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and supervision of assigned office/facility and its programs, services, and staff to achieve Company goals and objectives.

- Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company’s values and policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; providing feedback and development, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Reviews and/or revises programs and services to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations, policies, plans and procedures
- Evaluate, develop, implement and monitor compliance of policies and procedures. Revise and update as necessary based on standards, contractual obligations, evidence based practices and best practices.
- Develop and submit timely and accurate reports on program operations and services
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial plans for the office operations.
- Act as a change agent in the implementation of new practices, including training and coaching staff and modeling desired behavior.
- Develop and implement contingency management programs and practices to reward positive client behavior, and to hold clients accountable for negative behaviors and to assist them in changing negative behavior
- Oversee the staffing and disciplinary process for clients
- Oversee the monitoring and inspection of office/building and grounds for safety, maintenance, security and sanitation problems and to ensure meet all federal, state and local codes and safety requirements
- Maintain effective working relationships with other departments and stakeholders; acts as liaison with stakeholders
- Represent the program through court hearings as a witness, when subpoenaed or as required
- May be required to work nights and/or weekends
- Is available for on call duties and/or caseload coverage as required.
- Monitor drug and alcohol tests as required.
- Drives personal car to court, jail and/or other sites as required, including in adverse weather
- Attend required trainings and meetings, apply skills and knowledge.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete special projects as requested
- Liaison for stakeholders as required
- Participate in community groups and meetings as requested.
- Good steward of Company human, financial and capital resources.
- Participate effectively as a team member through communication, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving.
- Serve as On-Call to the residential facilities as required
- Any other tasks or duties as assigned.
- Directly supervises PREA and Compliance Specialist, Referral Specialists and Facilities Technicians, where applicable.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university in criminal justice, social sciences, behavioral sciences or closely related field AND
- At least 3 years experience in supervision of an offender population AND
- Minimum of 2 years staff supervisory experience required.
SKILLS
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of and ability to apply Colorado criminal justice system, community corrections, and case management techniques, requirements, standards and relevant evidence-based practices
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through application of Company values
- Strong attention to detail, and analytical and organizational skills
- Computer skills -- Ability to enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to remain calm in and de-escalate stressful situations
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
- Must pass background check and have ability to access state criminal databases
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Colorado Driver’s License and proof of insurance
Title: Program Manager IIIStarting Pay: $71,781 annually
Hours: 40 hours/week, M-F
