Title: HR Specialist I/Data Analytics
Location: Lakewood, CO
Starting Pay: $56,493 annually
Hours: M-F day shift (full-time)
OVERVIEW
Completes variety of human resource processes to support maintaining a positive and legal employee experience through being primary HR liaison for assigned division. Collect and analyze data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.vv

- Communicate and champion benefits, compensation, and HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Assist in addressing a range of employee issues to promote a positive and legally compliant work environment, such as conflict resolution, performance management and employee engagement
- Provides support and guidance to all levels of staff of assigned division for HR related policy/practice questions, requirements and interpretation.
- Create, collect, track and analyze data from variety of sources (i.e. HRIS, surveys, evaluations, etc) related to employee experience, HR processes, or other relevant business areas
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR/ employee related metrics
- Provide HR-driven data to identify improvement areas, support strategic decision-making, and drive HR initiatives
- Prepare data reports and analysis, present to management or others as appropriate
- Assist in developing, facilitating and presenting monthly new employee orientation and other internal staff trainings.
- Maintain and enter variety of employee information related to pay, performance, and benefit/insurance information in multiple databases timely and accurately. Create and generate reports.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance and consistency in all HR practices, identifying trends, analyzing and utilizing data, and developing and implementing solutions
- Drive personal car to other sites as required, including in adverse weather
- Attend required trainings and meetings, apply skills and knowledge.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from accredited college or university in human resources, data analytics, mathematics or related field; and at least two years related Human Resource experience and/or training, including experience in analytics. Direct, demonstrated experience may be substituted for education on a year-to-year basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Computer skills – Requires Expertise in Excel along with advanced skills in generating reports and creating communications from variety of software program, databases, and Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience creating visual interpretation of data from HRIS and other systems. Experience with Paylocity preferred.
- General understanding of Human Resources practices, procedures and legal requirements
- Ability to apply problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and situations with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Work independently as well as in a team environment and exercise good judgment with excellent follow-through
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, especially with sensitive or emotional situations
- Customer service oriented
- Time management – able to plan and meet deadlines while being flexible
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
