Description

The mission of Behavioral Treatment Services is to provide accessible, integrated, and inclusive behavioral health services supporting clients throughout the criminal justice system. Behavioral Treatment Services provides a continuum of specialized adult offender substance abuse and other treatment modalities. Being a part of the BTS team means being a part of the forefront of Colorado’s behavioral health and criminal justice programs and initiatives . Our goal as an agency is to provide a space toward client healing, to reduce criminal recidivism, assist clients in working towards personal growth, and collaborating with the system and client to work towards mutually agreeable goals.

BTS provides clinical services, court related services, and specialized programs for adults involved in the criminal justice system.  BTS provides services at community corrections sites (including residential treatment programs), outpatient locations, jail based, and court liaison programs in 9 counties across Colorado.

OVERVIEW
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision and basic oversight of outpatient programs  in Golden and Westminster,  and Jail-based programs(JBBS) in Golden and Boulder. This includes managing clinical staff and operations, developing business opportunities, ensuring positive public relations, and providing quality customer service. The position also provides substance use and mental health services as needed.

  • Reflect BTS’s commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
  • Monitors and oversees day-to-day and clinical operations of residential programs across the state to ensure the are meeting goals, standards and requirements.
  • Directly clinically supervises clinical therapists within Residential and Outpatient Programs, including both individual and group supervisions
  • Ensure positive public relations as liaison to the community and treatment system, and promotes clinical programs to city, county, and state system officials; attend all meetings for programming and operations with community and agency partners
  • Provide data analysis and assists Clinical Director in formulating strategies and meeting goals and objectives for programs
  • Ensures maintenance of thorough documentation in compliance with Federal and State treatment standards
  • Attend clinical, administrative, and management staff meetings
  • Provide direct services, both individual and group, as needed
  • Provide supervision for clinical master and doctoral level interns
  • In collaboration with other management staff, responds to emergency on-call issues via phone on weekends

Travel: Approximately 50-75%, drives personal car to locations in metro Denver.

Full-time, flexible hours
Starting Salary: $64,480 annually 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • CAC III or LAC
  • 3-5 years post masters experience, including at least 2 years supervising staff
  • Valid drivers license and proof of insurance and ability to travel to multiple sites

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently within interdisciplinary team and express strong leadership skills;
  • Experience working with offender populations;
  • Experience providing substance use and mental health treatment to adults


PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities;
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
