Title: Client Account Specialist II
Pay: $24.95/hr
Location: Greeley, CO
Hours: M-F FT


OVERVIEW

Maintain client trust accounts through making and recording transactions of client financial accounts accurately, in a timely manner and according to procedures. Process client intakes, prepare monthly billing and reports.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support, promote and adhere to the mission, values and Code of Conduct of Intervention Inc.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Carry out all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations. .
  • Coordinate information and prepare a variety of reports such as statistical, vendor, billing and/or client information timely and accurately.
  • Schedule clients for photographing and fingerprinting twice a month (site dictated).
  • Accurately maintain and record transactions to clients’ Trust Accounts including posting deposits, check requests, bus passes and any other necessary charges and deposits.
  • Provide information regarding client financial information to Case Managers and Administrative staff.
  • Prepare and mail restitution payments.
  • Enter client pay stub information into Etrac weekly
  • Collect all client deposits from the main office safe daily
  • Prepare and make bank deposits for client trust account at least weekly.
  • Review and process case managers’ client withdrawal requests according to standards.
  • Distribute client checks to case managers weekly.
  • Generate monthly client financial reports for reconciliation of bank statements and reimbursements.
  • Train new case managers on client financial procedures
  • Verify and audit client account information, balances and other financial files to ensure accuracy monthly, notify supervisor if inaccurate or noncompliant.
  • Monitor client’s amount owed and deduct from account according to procedures
  • Verify Case Manager entries regarding client financial accounts, provide feedback to Supervisor if inaccurate or noncompliant with standards
  • Audit client financial files monthly.
  • Verify client balance when a client leaves program. Close out client financial files and provide final ledgers to case managers.
  • Manage and update client information in databases systems timely and accurately
  • May create and issue client IDs
  • Attend and take minutes for weekly staff meetings.
  • May create and deliver residential client files for Main office.
  • Complete variety of administrative tasks as directed.
  • Provide support to administrative support staff and management as needed.
  • Assist in coverage for CAS at other facilities.
  • May manage waitlist
  • Drives personal car to bank and other sites as required, including in adverse weather.
  • Attend required trainings and meetings; apply skills and knowledge.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from accredited two-year college or technical school
  • AND 3 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer skills -- Ability to enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases.
  • Demonstrated understanding of standard professional office processes and standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting/financial record keeping standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Attentive to detail and strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
  • Must pass background check and have ability to access to state criminal databases.
